Fringe 114 - Ability
clmbls:
So I was thinking, in that episode, Olivia has to diffuse a bomb with her mind. Peter leaves the building with all the others, but Olivia stays and tries to do it. Peter comes back and watches her do it.
Only, Olivia’s ability starts when Peter is back. So I was thinking, those two together can accomplish the greatest things, but only when they’re near each other ? When there’s a connection ? When one believes in the other ? Does one fuel the other’s abilities when nearby?…

Multiverse baby theory
nanitewraps:
I have two visions of how this could unfold:
- Liv doesn’t actually give birth.
I know this is a really upsetting storyline and a very awful one at that, but sometimes I don’t think that she’ll actually go through with the pregnancy - either on her terms or on nature’s terms. When Walternate goes…

The third & perfect universe?
nakedheat:
So many of us have been talking about the third, most likely yellow universe. And and and and I just thought like, what if in the end our two universes were destroyed? I don’t know how that will happen, we all know that Olivia and Peter both think that “there must be another way” to save both universes, but what if there isn’t? What if in the end they failed to save both?

What if this is not about physics, but about people?
nakedheat:
This is just a compilation of bits and pieces from “6B” which appeared remarkable to me. Maybe I’m just overlooking things, but I do think that there are ~parallels or something goin’ on. I don’t entirely know what they mean, hence the title of this post :)

Peter & Fauxlivia's Baby: Perhaps We've Already Met Her
Ella?
OK, I realize this theory may be far-fetched, and is a bit of a shot in the dark. However, here are some dots I’m connecting:
- ”Brown Betty” [2.19] episode allegory: Ella provides Walter with “a much better ending.” If we are to take the episode’s allegories seriously as indicative of the Fringe mythology as a whole, perhaps Ella is the gamechanger and ace-up-the-sleeve at the end of the Fringe series, whenever it is…

I think Olivia’s abilities are triggered by love, and not fear as...
clmbls:
So, I think Olivia’s abilities are triggered by love, and not fear as Walter said. Here why :
- in Jacksonville ep, she saw the glimmering building after almost kissing Peter….

Two Babies?
spoilertheories:
So if you don’t know this well spoiler alert. FauxLiv is pregnant. Ok ok you can scream your anger. Let it out. I will wait. Are you done? Good. ;P
With that information out of the way, this brings me to an interesting theory. Now everyone knows that on Fringe there are two of everything but it…

Energy matters - Observers, too.
clmbls:
So, first, I think Belly’s not dead. His human flesh might be, but if you followed my former theories, you’ll get it (hopefully).
In a lot of cultures, human are made of flesh, the body, and some invisible strings that animate it, the soul. Our body is nothing more than a mass of pulsing…

What if AltLiva isn’t pregnant with her and Peter’s child but with Olivia and Peter’s child.
kielix:
So, like many others, I have a theory about tonight’s ep.
The following theory is based on the rumours and speculation currently circulating about tonight’s Fringe ep. So, um, it’s spoilery potentially? It also references an only mildly-spoilery advance review.

Thinking The End Game With The Machine Is A Similar Scenario Like With V’Ger.
What is V’Ger you ask? It is the robot probe from Star Trek - The Motion Picture.
Olivia and Peter have both promised to look for a third solution to the Create or Destroy options that Sam Weiss just laid out. I believe Peter operating the Machine on his own cannot circumvent the Weiss Scenario.
But, just like with Decker and Ilya joining with V’Ger at the end of ST:TMP, I believe that Peter and Olivia going into the Machine together can create that third nondestructive solution.
No worries though, Peter and Olivia will emerge from the Machine unscathed!
Cheers!

What if the First People were (are?!) aliens?
Belly and I always agreed that that primal part of the brain which allows us to cross universes is also responsible for a host of - of paranormal activities — pyrokinesis, telepathy, thought control. And that we all had these abilities until… ‘til there was a moment in history when something…
